DANAE is delighted to present Reactivations, l'Âge du Technocène, a group exhibition curated by Dominique Moulon, featuring : Lionel Bayol-Thémines, Louis-Paul Caron, Anne Horel, Kamilia Kard, Albertine Meunier, Minuit, ORLAN, Antoine Schmitt, and Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm.

No artistic practice escapes regular updating, whether linked to technical, technological, social or societal developments. From portraiture and self-portraiture, among other genres of historical painting, from handprints in caves to the digital data that characterizes us today, each generation of artists has its own means of reactivating modes of representation. Artistic publication methods have not been spared in recent decades, particularly with the emergence of different versions of the Web. Now, works of all kinds can be encrypted on the blockchain, which protects them while authenticating them. The Reactivations exhibition presents creations which, in a mutual dialogue, question modes of representation and publication as much as they offer readings of our current world.
