Vivian Ho is an emerging artist born in the 90s, active in the fields of art and illustration in Hong Kong.

The overlapping and dislocation of objects and scenes is intended to reveal the contradictions of life. Behind this exploration lies the relationship between the individual and his inner world, while establishing a dialogue between the individual and his environment.

After graduating from Wesleyan University, Vivian participated in solo and group exhibitions in New York, Italy, Shanghai, Hong Kong and other cities. She was named one of five local artists to watch at Affordable Art Fair HK 2014. She has subsequently given guest lectures at SCAD, the University of Hong Kong and TEDxYouth. Born in Hong Kong in the 90s, Vivian has a special connection with the city's local culture and a singular view of the world around her. Vivian's multimedia creations, designed for the cultural, commercial and public service sectors, testify to an alternative imagination and acute social insight that have been widely acclaimed by audiences. Partners include the Hong Kong International Film Festival, TVB, Nike, Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Lee Jeans, Carhartt, Standard Chartered, HSBC, MTR Corporation, UA Cinema and Herman Miller. Since leaving university, Vivian has continued to explore different creative languages, driven by a particular passion for pastel. However, her pastoral works are only truly complete when she inscribes, underneath her creations, titles in the form of phrases. These titles are inspired by iconic Hong Kong films and are accompanied by Cantonese songs from the 80s and 90s. Vivian excels in the art of observing ordinary people in urban life and constructing surreal, romantic and cinematic scenes for them, enabling them to become the true protagonists of real life.
