Reda Amalou is a French architect and designer. With AW2, the architectural practice he founded over 20 years ago, Reda Amalou has always chosen to approach architecture as a total design experience. His passion for design has always coexisted with his architectural work, so it was only natural that in 2013 he created his own furniture and accessories brand, REDA AMALOU DESIGN. Born into a dual French-Algerian culture, Reda studied architecture in London. For him, travel has always been an essential source of inspiration, as much for its diversity as for its capacity to surprise at every moment.

His work reflects the diversity of cultural influences he has discovered on his travels. His design blends sources of inspiration and forms to find the most direct and intuitive evocation, while preserving the integrity of the initial idea.

The collections are a perfect reflection of Reda Amalou's architectural work. Inspired by the aesthetic sensibilities of the twentieth century, he designs each piece with a combination of elegance, sobriety and identity. The materials he uses are rich, textured and vibrant, such as leather, bronze, glass, wood and eggshell. Beyond the main collection, some exceptional pieces are made in collaboration with specialized craftsmen. They are part of the "Reda Amalou Collection Galerie", offered as one-off pieces or in limited editions of 8.
